Originally built by David Sutton Motorsport (Historic Motorsport) in 1996 and completed the London to Sydney Marathon in 2000 where it finished 36 over all and second in class A Driven by Anthony Ward with David Harris as navigator. As far as we can we can ascertain PRP117D’s last competitive event was the Le Jog rally in 2002. After this the car was put in long-term storage where it was happened across by the vendor on his return from the 2016 Peking to Paris (driving Ford Escort MK1 Mexico). The subsequent purchase of a Per-war car from ourselves means there is no longer room in the garage for PRP117D.
Since purchase by the vendor the car has been through the workshops of Historic Motorsport (South West) Ltd which has included a mechanical inspection and engine rebuild. The Seats and safety belts will need replacing with new which will be done for the new owner.
